京都と秋田、それぞれの伝統工芸品の特徴を生かした弊社オリジナルの曲げわっぱ酒器シリーズです。秋田杉の流れるように美しい木目と京の文化が育んだ雅な色絵がコラボ。彩り豊かな京焼の絵付は、お酒のあらゆるシーンを華やかに演出します。
曲げわっぱは軽くて保冷性が高く結露せず、冷酒器としても優れた特性を持ちます。自然が生んだ温もりある素材と華やかで繊細な手わざの組み合わせが目を楽しませます。

How to enjoy our splendid sake servers
The products in the Kyoto and Akita series, our original Magewappa sake server series, are unparalleled gems that make use of the characteristics of two traditional crafts. The collaboration consists of the combination of the beautiful, flowing wooden grain of Akita cedar with the elegant overglaze painting techniques developed in Kyoto. The combination of warm materials created by nature with colorful, delicate handicrafts is a pleasure to the eyes.
Magewappa sake servers prevent condensation and have excellent cold insulating properties. The servers are combined with splendid Kyoto ware overglaze lids and cups. They can be adapted for every situation and will bring a touch of luxury to any party.

古都京都は五条坂。焼き物の窯や陶房が軒を連ねる界隈に西川貞三郎商店はあります。1917年創業以来、京焼・清水焼を中心とした陶器、磁器などを国内外に販売してまいりました。初代店主・西川貞三郎は 1958年のベルギー万博に出展し清水焼を紹介、また二代目計太郎は日本の優れた伝統工芸品及び雑貨をも取り扱うようになりました。
現社長、加余子は先代に引き継ぎ、清水焼、および日本の伝統工芸品の販売促進に励むと共に、すぐれた日本の伝統文化を世界に紹介することに努めます。

T. NISHIKAWA & Co., Inc. is located in the Gojozaka quarter, famous for its many kilns and ateliers of Kiyomizu Ware, in Kyoto, the ancient capital of Japan. Since its establishment in 1917, the company has been promoting Kiyomizu Ware and exporting it worldwide. Teizaburo Nishikawa, founder of the company, introduced Kiyomizu Ware at the Brussels World Fair in 1958. Teizaburo’s son, Keitaro, enlarged the export business and expanded it to a wide variety of traditional Japanese crafts and commodities.
Today, Kayoko, Keitaro’s daughter, has inherited the business and continues promoting the charm of the Japanese culture and Kiyomizu Ware, the representative brand of Kyoto, all over the world.
